YSTR // Part Deux

YSTR // Part Deux

For most, fall fashion consists of cozy sweaters, circle scarves and riding boots. For us Angelenos still fighting the 90 degree heat, bodysuits and breezy capris are just what the weatherman ordered. Whether I’m attending my friend’s art opening, or Sunday brunching (what else do people do here?) I find myself going back again and again to this eco-friendly combo from YSTR.

The Margaux bodysuit can be dressed up with their Jett Tie pants, or dressed down with frayed jean shorts for an outdoor concert. Their Amelie neck scarf takes your basics from, well, basic…to French-girl cool.

YSTR minimizes their waste by using cut-to-order production — a process I wrote about here last month. Since then, they’ve already come out with another game changer in the sustainable fashion world. Since clothing that is safe for people and the environment often comes at a steeper cost than you’re used to paying, YSTR released a new buy now, pay later option. You pay 20% down for them to start making your clothes, and then pay the rest three weeks after you receive your order. It’s NOT layaway it’s instant gratification. On top of that, I still have a coupon to take $20 off your next order of $50+; just use “MichelleForGood” at checkout.  Happy Fall (or whatever season it feels like) shopping!
